Nursing Home Companions
Nursing Home Companions is a DCA committee that visits Pine Kirk Care center in Kirkersville once or twice a week. We usually just play games, or visit with the residents, but we also take the residents on outings. For example, we usually visit a local pumpkin patch to get pumpkins to carve for Halloween. Nursing Home Companions is a lot of fun, and is low time commitment. It's a great way to meet new people, and is always a great study break. We can always use more volunteers, and everyone is welcome to come!
