After School Mentoring and Tutoring
After School Mentoring and Tutoring is engaged in improving the classroom performance of childen it its after-school programs while also providing mentors to struggling children. The group works to enhance study skills, increase proficiency test scores, model positive academic attitudes, and encourage an interest in achieving academic excellence. The program is open to all area school-aged children. The committee works at Par Excellence Academy and with area Head Start programs.
